Thanks to the Pagan fraternity's efforts over recent years, this site is a breathtaking energetic experience. One of the fascinating qualities of this circle is its vortex rotating in both clockwise and anticlockwise directions simultaneously. It can be reached by driving to Chipping Norton and on A3400 to great Roll Right in Oxfordshire, nr the Costwolds.

Earth Mother grass statue ~ Lund, Sweden
In Lund, southern Sweden, each year this beautiful statue is brought out at winter solstice time in one of the town's minor squares. It is an obvious celebration of the Earth Mother, being constructed in such a way that live grass is growing all over it.
